Hyatt is a husband and a father, a guitar player, a fly-fisherman and a bad golfer. Raised in West Texas and a Texas Tech graduate, he's proud of his diploma; he's just not sure where it is. After 20-years in radio, television, and print Hyatt now finds himself on the internet. He reckons that is a good thing.

The pain is this is a very talented Tech team that seems to be seeking motivation or leadership. The hangover from the national attention has way too much of an effect. The loss of Ryland Reed and Louie Vasquez was way more than expected. Two super strong guys, Vasquez led the combine, and Reed lifted more than that at the pro day, not to mention shut down two very low picks head to head (Long & Orakbo)
