From what I have seen this season:
1) Potts cannot scramble
2) Potts cannot throw on the run accurately
3) Potts is apt to throw brain dead interceptions
4) Potts holds the ball too long
5) Potts cannot throw long accurately
He may have done this in HS or in practice, I don’t know. But does that matter right now?
Why does he start?
1) He “looks” like a QB.
2) He was “scouted and signed” from high school
Scheffield?
1) Look like a walking stick
2) Walked on the team not scouted or signed
3) Surely he cannot play football d1??!!
Results
1) Potts deserved to be benched, just got hurt first.
1) Sheffield runs the offense better and throws well in many different situations.
