Good morning West Texans and all you good, fine, friendly folks out there who wish you were . . .
It’s a big day on The Show as we get the latest on the Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks with Shaun Lenrose from the little Ticket in Dallas. We’ll find out what questions you can’t ask Dez Bryant beyond The One asked by Jeff Ireland of Miami.
We’ll also get the latest on Texas Tech Baseball for you, check in on Tech softball as they host Texas and keep up with tennis and golf as well as Tech track. Busy times to say the least.
If it is Thursday that means it is Cultural Index Day on The Show. Our Show has always been about more than sports ( we hope your life is too ) and on Thursday’s we make it official.
Today we want to know what your first favorite TV show was. Think back all those years, some more than others, and let us know what you remember wanting to watch most when you were a kid. Get a jump start on everyone else and get your TV show nominated right here on the site.
The fun starts at three, we’ll see you then.

Speed Racer. Racing, airtight jumping cars with retractable spikes in the tires, Trixie, oddly placed screams and groans, and Chim-Chim. What’s not to like?
Captain Kangaroo. Had to watch it every morning beforfe school. Mr. Green Jeans, Mr. Moose, Bunny Rabbit, Tom Terrific and Manfred the Wonder Dog, Grandfather Clock and Dancing Bear. Fun times for a little kid!
The Dukes of Hazzard. What could be more appealing to a young boy than fast cars, long legged women in short shorts (even if you didn’t know why yet), and good old country boys.
As a kid… The Flintstones
High school, college and then some… Cheers
Now… Mad Men
(do you really think there’s ever one answer for these things)
