Hyatt is a husband and a father, a guitar player, a fly-fisherman and a bad golfer. Raised in West Texas and a Texas Tech graduate, he's proud of his diploma; he's just not sure where it is. After 20-years in radio, television, and print Hyatt now finds himself on the internet. He reckons that is a good thing.

The difference between Blackistone and good shock-value writers such as Whitlock, Wilbon or Reily, who also touch on touchy issues, is that they usually have good points, do good research and only go extreme when it somewhat makes sense.

Blackistone is a square and in this piece, he is way over his head. The reality is that not enough people even like reading his stuff for him to even attempt to rally people against an issue, especially such an issue he undermines.

Immigration has nothing to do with racism, it is a serious issue that our country needs to get a grasp on. To be honest I stopped reading after Blackistone said something along the lines of “Search peoples cars who appear to be hispanic.”

Blackistone was good in the old days when general post game write-ups and columns were appreciated. Unfortunately the internet has made the general write-up unappealing and Blackistone has tried to adjust.

Blackistone is nothing more than an old school reporter who has tried on multiple occasions to step into the new-age circle with his columns and just like most of his columns, in this one he once again failed miserably.

So to answer the question I don’t think Arizona should be boycotted.
Hope all is well in the Hub.
