    That was very nice of Tommy Tuberville to come on the show. He seems like such a gracious, respectful, poised, and accommodating gentleman. I don’t recall Mike Leach being that gracious. Did he ever come on the show? And I was a Leach guy, but wow Tuberville just mops the floor with him as far as grace goes. I just hope Tuberville can match the winning ways on the football field.

    Mike was nice enough to come on the show many times over the years and even answer a few Cultural Index Questions.
    I appreciate Coach Tuberville taking the time to call in today on a very busy Thursday. Thanks also to Tech’s media relations guy, Blayne Beale, for helping make it happen.

    I wonder if Coach Tuberville is getting his AP National Champonship Ring made, now that USC will likely have their 2004 wins “vacated”. Texas Tech just got a National Championship for their coach (not that he didn’t already feel he’d earned it).
