We’re back in the studio tonight after a great Tuesday at Rudy’s Country Store and BBQ. Obviously we’ll be keeping up with the Big12/Pac10/Big10/ND story. Who knows what will be happening by then. We’ll have the latest and some pertinent guests depending on which school and what AD’s are making the most noise by this afternoon.
I’m wondering today if I’m the only Tech fan that hopes, really hopes, this thing goes down and the Red Raiders end up in an expanded Pac 10? Let me know what you’re thinking today. I can’t see the Big 12 surviving right now, but even if somehow Nebraska doesn’t bolt and the Pac 10 only expands by two, most likely taking Colorado, I can’t see the Big 12 hanging together beyond a few more years.
The big players in CFB are going to 16 teams. The Big 12 has issues that I don’t think will ever be resolved. The Big 12 will never be better than the fourth league in terms of revenue. The Big 12 was a band-aid and it is time to rip the band-aid off.
Here’s hoping a Pac 10 invite is in the mail and Kent Hance gets to be the first to publicly accept an offer.

You’re just hoping to see some new cities, Ryno! No, actually, I’m now in favor of Tech joining the Pac-10 too. I think it would elevate Tech athletics and academics. That, and we would get to see some new cities.
