Tuesday Show Notes: 7/6/10-Live From Rudy’s

Good morning West Texans and all you good, fine, friendly folks out there who wish you were . . .

We’re back at it today taking your calls on everything from the Texas Rangers, the looming MLB All-Star Game, World Cup soccer and of course Dan Beebe and the Big 12 Vs. Texas Tech Coach Tommy Tuberville. We’re live today from Rudy’s Country Store and BBQ on S. Loop 298 and Slide Rd. so come out and see us for some great post-flood BBQ. We’ll have the buy one get one free special on chopped beef sandwiches from 3-7 so don’t miss out.

I’m guessing we’ll also have to say something about NBA free agency today as it seems that is more interesting than actual NBA games right now.

We’re also just a few days away from NFL Training Camps so we need to start looking harder at the Dallas Cowboys and reports that Dez Bryant hasn’t exactly been  sitting at home getting ready for the season. . .

On the national political front it looks like the Feds are going to take another step in their ongoing cold war with Arizona over immigration.  Pay attention to that and the meetings with Israel today. We live in interesting times.

See ya at 3p.m. on SportsRadio 1340 The Fan.

Ryan Hyatt

Hyatt is a husband and a father, a guitar player, a fly-fisherman and a bad golfer. Raised in West Texas and a Texas Tech graduate, he's proud of his diploma; he's just not sure where it is. After 20-years in radio, television, and print Hyatt now finds himself on the internet. He reckons that is a good thing.

I’m not taking any chances on the Arizona law. To be on the safe side, I have done the following:

    1. Put my Los Suns jersey up for sale on ebay.
    2. Stopped watching baseball and world cup.
    3. Refrained from Taco Bell drive thru (ok I haven’t been able to do this just yet).
    4. Thrown out all my sombreros.
    5. Cancelled subscription to Hot Latinas (again, not really).
