Wednesday Show Notes: 7/14/10

Good morning West Texans and all you good, fine, friendly folks out there who wish you were . . .

They say it is the slowest sports day of the year. We don’t buy it.

We’ll be back in studio tonight taking your calls on top grudge matches for Texas Tech fans to look forward to, we’ll recap the All-Star Game ( that won’t take long ) and maybe make a few predictions about the Texas Rangers. Is this really the year? A post-season series win? Why or why not?

The Dallas Cowboys are about to take over the headlines  with their training camp and the Red Raiders really need to think about taking that red endzone look from the practice field to Jones Stadium. That look rocks!

At some point tonight we’ll also give you a chance to win a free lesson at GolfTec via Golf USA and our Closest To The Pin competition for the British Open. My only advice is to keep Tiger and Phil out of your top five. After that, your guess is as good as anyone’s.

We’ll see you at three on SportsRadio 1340 The Fan. Remember, you can call from anywhere and talk about Tech sports at 1-866-984-5326.

Hyatt is a husband and a father, a guitar player, a fly-fisherman and a bad golfer. Raised in West Texas and a Texas Tech graduate, he's proud of his diploma; he's just not sure where it is. After 20-years in radio, television, and print Hyatt now finds himself on the internet. He reckons that is a good thing.
