Mon. Show Notes:9/6/10

Good morning West Texans and all you good, fine, friendly folks out there who wish you were . . .

Happy Labor Day and good-bye summer. Of course if you were at Jones Stadium Sunday you know summer seems intent on hanging around a bit. That was the hottest game I’ve ever been to out there in many decades of going to games. Nice sunburn.

Today we’ll be taking the show on the road for a holiday version of BBQ at Rudy’s. Come on by starting at three and get in on the buy one, get one free chopped beef sandwich special! You can enjoy the day without having to cook.

Of course we’ll be talking about Tech’s win over SMU. It wasn’t pretty but it was interesting. We learned a few things about the offense and the defense and we also found out Tommy Tuberville is as capable of going for it at the exact wrong time as his predecessor was at Tech . . .

Since it’s Monday, we want to make sure you get to tell us the Outrage of the Weekend. I’ve got a feeling we may hear from some folks who were at Jones Stadium yesterday on this one.

Get your thoughts in today at 1-866-984-5326 and let us know what you thought about the game.

Hyatt is a husband and a father, a guitar player, a fly-fisherman and a bad golfer. Raised in West Texas and a Texas Tech graduate, he's proud of his diploma; he's just not sure where it is. After 20-years in radio, television, and print Hyatt now finds himself on the internet. He reckons that is a good thing.
