Good morning West Texans and all you good, fine, friendly folks out there who wish you were . . .
We’ll expand your mind today outside the little box that can be sports with our weekly Cultural Index Question. Still debating between two questions so check back later or follow us on Twitter at RyanHyattWHShow for the latest updates this afternoon.
We will breakdown some of SMU’s top play-makers today with Wes Bunting from The National Football Post. SMU coach June Jones really likes his QB, Kyle Padron so we’ll see what the NFL talent scouts think of him as well.
The Cowboys say they won’t play the first team offense tonight against Miami so it is a sure bet the Cowboys will put up some points on the Dolphins, isn’t it? I wish they’d put Romo and the rest out there for a quarter but if they failed again to score it would only create more trouble for Wade Phillips. Not good. Just have to wait for Week One to see if the struggles are real or not.
Don Williams has his normal good stuff in the A-J so read it then make sure to call in with your Red Raider football questions starting at three at 866-984-5326. One thing Don talked to Gerald Myers and Tommy Tuberville about was the rumors going around that Tech and BYU might hook-up in non-conference play. They both say they haven’t talked, but I still wouldn’t be shocked to see a game like that scheduled for 2012 or beyond. BYU has got to play somebody.
Get your mind right and we’ll see you on SportsRadio 1340 The Fan later today.
