Good morning West Texans and all you good, fine, friendly folks out there who wish you were . . .
Gonna be a busy show today. We’ll talk to National Football Post.com’s Fantasy Football expert Joe Fortenbaugh today and he’ll give us an on-air critique of my Fightin’ Woolly draft from last weekend. That could get ugly. We’ll also swing it out to Dallas and talk to former Tech ast. S.I.D. Kent Best, now with the SMU News and Pub office about the change in culture at SMU since June Jones arrived. Do they really want to play “big-time” football on the Hilltop again? We won’t stop there as we also visit with Texas Tech soccer coach Tom Stone about their historic start to the season, going undefeated so far.
We also want to hear from you on the Domino’s Pizza Fan line so get your thoughts together on the Red Raiders, Texas Rangers (what’s really up with Cliff Lee? ) and the Dallas Cowboys and give us a holler starting at three at 1-866-984-5326.
There’s lots of wind in the wire right now that Texas Tech and BYU might schedule a football game in the future. BYU does need some opponents now that they’re going independent. Right now there isn’t anything more to it than rumor. One thing would be certain, we wouldn’t have to worry about playing the Cougars on Sunday. . .
