Wed. Show Notes: 9/8/10-Fantasy Time

Good morning West Texans and all you good, fine, friendly folks out there who wish you were . . .

It’s a great morning out here in West Texas. Got a little rain, just enough to cool things off but not enough to hurt the cotton. Gotta love it.

Before you set your fantasy football line-ups tonight make sure you call-in and talk to National Football Post.com’s Fantasy Football expert Joe Fortenbaugh at 3:30 today. He’ll help you make the tough decisions on who to start and who to avoid in week one. I used his draft kit this year and had one of the best drafts I’ve had in a long time. Check out his work!

We’ll also look at the U.S. Ryder Cup team and see what Randy Stevenson of Golf Tec thinks about the Captain’s Picks by Corey Pavin. Is this group too young or just right? Should Tiger even be there, even though he’s still the #1 ranked player in the world (who hasn’t won in a year ).

Other than that we’ll be taking your calls at 1-866-984-5326 on Red Raider football and what you’re looking for in week two against New Mexico. Should Tech be expected to hang up the same big numbers Oregon did or will the Lobos come out and play their “Super Bowl” against the hated Texans? Is New Mexico even capable of getting up for Tech given their talent level and coaching situation right now?

We are pleased to announce that we are testing some live streaming of the show right now thanks to Jack Dale’s website. Go HERE and give it a try today and let us know how it works for you. Working out some kinks and more details for better streaming in the future hopefully.

Get ready to rumble and we’ll talk to you at 3p.m. on SportsRadio 1340 The Fan!

Hyatt is a husband and a father, a guitar player, a fly-fisherman and a bad golfer. Raised in West Texas and a Texas Tech graduate, he's proud of his diploma; he's just not sure where it is. After 20-years in radio, television, and print Hyatt now finds himself on the internet. He reckons that is a good thing.
