Hyatt is a husband and a father, a guitar player, a fly-fisherman and a bad golfer. Raised in West Texas and a Texas Tech graduate, he's proud of his diploma; he's just not sure where it is. After 20-years in radio, television, and print Hyatt now finds himself on the internet. He reckons that is a good thing.

I’m taking the wife and kids to the TicketCity Bowl……come on, it’s Texas Tech Football!!!!

It’s sad that not enough folks are excited about this game – are we the last Big 12 team this season to make it to bowl eligibility? Could we have gone to a better bowl? Dunno – it is what it is. Tech’s playing and it’s our backyard. No excuse not to go.

Ticket prices? The good seats are $75 a pop, which I think is pricey for a first year bowl, in a historical but dated facility. I know I am a bad Red Raider, I didn’t buy through Tech’s ticket office. But when we’re talking a family of four, $25 a ticket w/ discounted parking seems a lot more easy on the billfold as oppossed to $75 a ticket and no parking deal.

What’s worse is not being there.

Guns Up, and hope we get clear skies for Saturday morning!
