Mon. Show Notes: 2/14/11-Outrage Of The Weekend!

Good morning West Texans and all you good, fine, friendly folks out there who wish you were . . .

It’s a busy and big Monday on the show today as all of us guys just try and survive Valentine’s Day without doing something incredibly stupid. Good luck with that.

Today we’ll start off visiting with the head coach of the undefeated Texas Tech softball team, Shannon Hays. The Red Raiders are fresh off a tourney win at ASU and should be in the polls this week. We’ll also look back over the action at Dan Law Field this weekend where Tech baseball took down the 0ld timers, err, Alumni Team and showed some decent bats in the process against some pro arm on the hill for the old guys.

We don’t stop there though as we’ll also talk to Nascar Sprint Cup driver Andy Lally who’ll take the green flag next Sunday in the Daytona 500 driving the #71 TRG Chevy entry. Lally is fresh off a win in the Rolex 24 Hours of Datyona race for TRG and may be the only MMA specialists driving in Nascar ( minus Jeff Burton and Jeff Gordon at TMS last year )

All day long we’ll take your calls on the Domino’s Fan Line on everything from your Outrage of the Weekend to Red Raider and Lady Raider Basketball. The men dropped another one Saturday to Texas A&M but the Lady Raiders did snap a six-game losing streak demolishing Colorado in Boulder Saturday afternoon.

Get your calls in today starting at 3p.m. on The Fan by dialing 1-866-984-5326 no matter where you are.

We’ll see ya on SportsRadio 1340 The Fan at 3p.m.

Hyatt is a husband and a father, a guitar player, a fly-fisherman and a bad golfer. Raised in West Texas and a Texas Tech graduate, he's proud of his diploma; he's just not sure where it is. After 20-years in radio, television, and print Hyatt now finds himself on the internet. He reckons that is a good thing.
