Hyatt is a husband and a father, a guitar player, a fly-fisherman and a bad golfer. Raised in West Texas and a Texas Tech graduate, he's proud of his diploma; he's just not sure where it is. After 20-years in radio, television, and print Hyatt now finds himself on the internet. He reckons that is a good thing.

    1. I think MY is what we thought he was! (and I just slammed the table for effect). He will hit about .275 this season, maybe with a good week or stretch of games, but this is not MY’s banner year. Also, he won’t and shouldn’t get an HOF invite unless he goes well over 3,000 hits. Personally, I don’t think that should be an automatic qualifyer, but the BBWAA thinks so. But he needs close to 800 hits and his 200 hit years are behind him. I do think he’ll have another .300 season or two, but this ain’t one of ‘em. So, in answer to your question, I’m with you [I just shuddered ;p ]
2.I am looking for banner years out of Eric Ward, Jakeem Grant, Alex Torres and Darrin Moore. With Marquez, Edwards, Kennard, McRoy and Zouzalik posting big years as well.
    3. Candlesticks always make a good gift.

That must be why I agree with you.

RP, your answer to #3 makes me laugh because I just used that phrase yesterday at the Rangers game when the Orioles outfielders were circled up in center field talking amongst themselves. A friend wondered what they were discussing.
