Ryan Hyatt

Ryan Hyatt began working in radio as a freshman at Texas Tech doing sports casts and color for Texas Tech sports on KTXT-FM. During college Hyatt began calling high school football, basketball, baseball and volleyball as well as working on Texas Tech TV broadcasts doing play-by-play for Texas Tech volleyball in the early-90’s.

Hyatt worked his first Lady Raider Basketball game in 1988 and would do his first game of play-by-play for the Lady Raiders in 1989. Hyatt called play-by-play for Texas Tech Lady Raider Basketball from 1990-1993, 1993-2009, before stepping down in April of 2009 as The Voice of The Lady Raiders.

Aside from Lady Raider Basketball Hyatt also called Texas Tech Baseball action from 1989 to 1992 and then again from 1997-1999 while also working on the network for the 2001 and ’02 seasons. Over the years Hyatt could also be heard on the Texas Tech Football Network as well as hosting various pre and post-game shows for SportsRadio 1340 The Fan.
